Verb – Participles as Adjectives
Fyll i rätt participform som passar som adjektiv i meningen.
- In Swedish, participles can be used as adjectives to describe nouns.
- Present participles (ending in -ande/-ende) describe ongoing states: ett leende barn (a smiling child).
- Past participles agree with the noun in gender and number: ett stängt fönster, en stängd dörr, stängda fönster.
- Past participles from strong verbs often have irregular forms: skriven, skrivet, skrivna.
- Pay attention to the noun's gender (en/ett) and whether it is singular or plural.
